Japanese Street Collection Bundle
A collector’s bundle featuring three ANAVRIN® miniature worlds inspired by the lantern-lit charm of Kyoto, the nostalgic alleyways of Tokyo, and the hidden nightlife of Golden Gai.
Build Japan’s Most Atmospheric Streets
The Japanese Street Collection brings together three of ANAVRIN’s most atmospheric miniature worlds: the quiet lantern-lit beauty of Kyoto Gion, the nostalgic food alleys of Omoide Yokocho, and the intimate nightlife energy of Golden Gai.
Designed for collectors, Japan lovers, and builders who appreciate cinematic detail, this bundle lets you experience three distinct sides of Japan, from old-world elegance to smoky backstreets and hidden late-night bars.
Description
Japan is not defined by one single scene. It is found in the contrast between quiet temple streets, glowing alleyway food stalls, narrow bar districts, old signboards, paper lanterns, vending machines, wooden facades, and the feeling of discovering something hidden just around the corner.
The Japanese Street Collection was created to bring these different moods together in one complete display. Kyoto Gion captures the elegance of traditional Japan, Omoide Yokocho recreates the warmth and nostalgia of Tokyo’s old food alleys, while Golden Gai brings the character of compact nightlife streets filled with tiny bars, glowing signs, and stories layered into every corner.
Together, they form a miniature journey through Japan’s most atmospheric streets.

What Makes It Special
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you bring Cats Crossing to life.
What skill level do I need to build this?
Cats Crossing is rated intermediate. You do not need prior crafting experience, but this is not a beginner kit. Some steps require patience and a steady hand, particularly when shaping and placing the vines and positioning the LED wiring. If you have built a book nook before, you will feel right at home. If this is your first, expect a learning curve that is absolutely worth it.
How long does the build take?
Give yourself 6 to 8 hours total. Most builders spread this across two sessions. There is no rush point in this build, and the slower you go, the better it looks.
Is this suitable as a gift?
Yes, and it ships in packaging that reflects the quality of what is inside. Cats Crossing is a considered gift for anyone who loves books, quiet spaces, or the kind of craft that stays with you long after it is finished. If you are buying for someone else, we recommend checking whether they enjoy process-driven projects before gifting an intermediate kit.
What is included in the kit?
Everything you need to complete the build: 407 pre-cut wooden pieces, five LED light components, a handcrafted translucent ceiling panel, an infinity mirror module with wiring, miniature cat figurines, moss and vine detailing materials, a USB power cable, an acrylic dust cover, and a fully illustrated English instruction manual.
(Glue and batteries are not included due to shipping restrictions.)
What tools will I need?
A small pair of tweezers (Included) and a toothpick for placing small details. White/silicon-based craft glue works best for assembly.
What are the finished dimensions?
The completed Cats Crossing Book Nook measures approximately 18 cm wide by 22 cm tall by 14 cm deep. It fits between standard bookshelf volumes and is designed to sit flush against your books.
Does it need batteries or a power outlet?
The LED lighting runs via USB. A USB-A cable is included. You can power it from any standard USB adapter, laptop port, or USB hub. No batteries required.
What if a piece is missing or damaged?
Reach out to us directly at info@byanavrin.com. We keep replacement parts on hand and will get the right piece to you as quickly as possible for free. A missing piece is not the end of your build.
Are these suitable for children?
We recommend the kit for ages 10 and above. Many parents have shared that their 6 to 8-year-olds enjoy building together with some guidance. It’s a lovely family activity that encourages creativity, patience, and quality time together.
