As soon as your kit leaves our fulfillment center you receive an email with a tracking link. It can take a day or two before the first scan shows. You can also follow your order in your account.

We ship worldwide from fulfillment centers in the US, Europe and Asia, so your kit travels the shortest possible route to you.

No. Duties and taxes are included in the price you pay at checkout, so there are no surprise charges on delivery.

Shipping is calculated at checkout from your country and the number of kits in your order. Every extra kit in the same order costs far less to ship than a separate order, so combining kits always saves you money.

Delivery time depends on your country. The estimate for your country is shown on the product page before you order and again in your shipping email.

Email us at info@byanavrin.com as soon as possible with your order number. As long as your order has not been packed yet, we can change the address, swap a kit or cancel it for you.

You can return an unopened kit within 60 days of delivery for a full refund of the kit price. Every kit holds hundreds of small, numbered pieces, so we cannot take back a box once it has been opened. The cost of shipping the kit back to us is paid by the customer.

Broke or misplaced a piece while building? That is not a return. We send a replacement for free, see Replacement parts below.

Start your return in our return portal. Enter your order number and the email address you ordered with, choose the kit and tell us why you are returning it. We reply within 24 hours with the return address and the next steps. The cost of shipping the kit back is paid by the customer.

We refund your original payment method as soon as your return has arrived and been checked. Your bank can take 5 to 10 business days to show it on your statement.

Please send a photo of the box and of the pieces that are affected to info@byanavrin.com, together with your order number. We will make it right with free replacement parts, or a new kit if that is needed.

No. Every piece is precision cut, pre colored and numbered, and the lights arrive pre wired. There is no painting, cutting or soldering. The illustrated manual shows one step at a time, and many of our builders had never built anything before their first kit.

It depends on the kit. Beginner kits take about 4 to 6 hours, Intermediate kits 6 to 8 hours and Advanced kits 8 to 10 hours. Our largest collector builds, like Yong An Soy Milk Shop, are a project of 15 hours or more. Take your time, slower builds tend to look better.

The level tells you how many pieces and how much fine detail a kit has. Beginner kits have roughly 200 to 330 pieces, Intermediate kits 280 to 470, and Advanced kits add finer detail, extra lighting or mechanics.

All pre cut and pre colored wooden pieces, the pre wired LED lighting set, the tools you need and a fully illustrated English manual. Batteries are not included across all of our kits because of shipping rules. Glue is included for all US orders and not included for regions outside of the US.

A clear, silicone based craft glue works best, for example Elmer's multi purpose glue. For small parts that need a stronger, faster hold you can use a super glue such as Gorilla Super Glue. Many pieces fit together cleanly, so you need less glue than you think. A toothpick helps to place small drops.

Every kit comes with a step by step illustrated manual. Full video tutorials for several kits are on our tutorials page, and our builder community on Facebook is a great place to ask about a tricky step.

Our kits are best suited for ages 10 and up. Many parents build together with children from 6 to 8 years old, a lovely screen free project to share. Small parts make the kits unsuitable for young children on their own.

Most kits run on 2 or 3 AAA or AA batteries, which are not included because of shipping rules. Cats Crossing, Kowloon Walled City 2049, Mars Revelation 62, Golden Gai and Whispering Hollow can also be powered by USB-C.

Most light issues are solved in a minute. Try fresh batteries and check that each one faces the right way. Make sure every connector is pushed in all the way and that the colored plugs match. We always recommend testing the lights before gluing the last pieces in place.
