I have finished 2 Book Nooks. They went together with some challenges, but were a lot of fun and everything works. I admit that I decided to try similar items from other companies that were less expensive but found the boards thinner and the items printed on paper were on a cheap flimsy paper that tore and crumpled. Also lights didn’t work and pieces broke. You get what you pay for and I feel that the price you charge is justified because the quality is so much better. I am anxious to order and start on some more book books from you. Thanks for an excellent product.

I loved making this kit. It is very detailed and looks authentic. The only problem is that a few items were mislabeled. For example the instructions booklet stated to add part F3 which did not exist. After much hunting the part I needed was A3. There was also an F1 typo - meaning A1. Just a few glitches like that . However, everything was there, no pieces were missing, just typos.

While I really like the design and aesthetic of this piece, there are still a couple issues. First, there are missing steps in the instructions that skip over steps. Also some of the pieces are extremely mis-labeled. Last, turning on the light is a big hassle, compared with another bookshelf model recently completed (Rolife Sakura Densya Booknook). While the other model was not as intricate or detailed, it has the distinct advantage of being able to turn on the light from the front, without pulling the whole thing off the shelf, fiddling with a "secret" door on the back, and reaching inside to switch it on. Other than that, I really like this model.

The kit is very well made and has great detail. You do have to glue things or they tumble all over the place. There should be another bulb for the upstairs by the window. All in all, a fun experience, and my wife loves it.

The kit is quite complex and for someone such as myself with minimal spatial intelligence, it can sometimes be a challenge. My only complaint is that some of the pieces are so finely etched that it’s almost impossible to remove them without damaging them. But the end result is all worth it.

I love 3D puzzles but have run out of the ones I usually do. I thought I would try a wooden one and this little bookshop was so appealing. I found it very easy to make although making the individual books was a little tedious. The pieces fit together beautifully and overall I would say the product was very well designed and manufactured.

An excellent model. The fit, printing and quality of the parts was excellent and it tells a great story. Things for people to think about when building is to look several steps ahead when it comes to placing items such as the desk on the top landing and the balcony railing. I made a error in that I glued the desk too close to the edge and found that I had not left enough space to fit the railings. I was able to engineer the railings to fit around my mistake. Care is also required in the fitting of the large bookcase on the ground floor so that the capping boards fit properly under the walkway. I used regular PVA type glue (dries fast and clear) for the main construction where needed and I used Elmer's school glue stick (purple) to glue the paper together. All in all, an excellent model and I recommend it. While it is not a difficult build, I would suggest it isn't for kids.

Generally I enjoyed making this. The detail is impressive and it’s a beautiful finished product. Normally I’ve completed complex Lego projects. However this is the first time I worked with wood and glue and had several instances of pieces not coming together as they should or breaking and having to be glued back together. I’ll admit I used some words I hadn’t in a while and was worried it wouldn’t work. But it does. And looks good on the shelf.

This was a birthday gift from my hubby. He knows I love to read and love books. I had a lot of fun putting this miniature library together. The directions were pretty clear. The developing charm of the two rooms and the fact that it lights up were enjoyable to see in the progress. I was able to also add a little of my own ideas to the designing of the rooms.

I started with constructing the 105 books. 105! Fascinating detail in the tiny things. I abandoned them every few days to do some construction or I'd go mad. How a person would do it without a Pritstick I can't imagine. Craft glue worked great for everything else. I've never done something like this before - and I loved it. Kept me out of mischief for about 2 weeks. I messed up with the light cord. I didn't pull it through far enough before it was too late so I need to use an external source from above. The balcony is the only annoyance as I carefully set things up there, stuck 'dropped' posters onto the surface and floor but nothing is visible due to the balustrade. A pause and I might get the sailor's one. I have a proper scale library, I had a boat, it was a toss-up. I recommend buying this if you like dealing with detail and completing a project, if not then don't. It would drive some of my friends crazy. Not me.
