Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before bringing Shiinamachi Station to life.

Is Shiinamachi Station suitable for first-time brick builders?

Shiinamachi Station is rated Intermediate. You do not need to be an expert, but some previous brick-building experience will be helpful due to its 3,143-piece construction and integrated lighting.

Three detailed instruction booklets are included to guide you through the build step by step. We recommend taking your time and completing it across several relaxed building sessions.

How long does it take to complete?

The estimated assembly time is approximately 20 to 30 hours, depending on your building experience and pace.

It is designed to be a substantial, rewarding project rather than a quick one-session build.

What makes Shiinamachi Station different from a typical brick set?

Shiinamachi Station is an original ANAVRIN® design, developed in-house and available exclusively through ANAVRIN®.

Rather than recreating a simplified building façade, the set brings together a complete Tokyo streetscape with layered architecture, illuminated storefronts, konbinis, railway details, overhead cables, rooftop structures and hidden neighbourhood elements.

With 3,143 pieces, integrated lighting and a substantial finished size, it is designed to be equally rewarding to build and impressive to display.

Are the bricks compatible with other building-brick systems?

Yes. The bricks are compatible with major building-brick systems, allowing you to connect additional pieces, customise the scene or incorporate Shiinamachi Station into a larger display.

Everything required to complete the original design is already included in the set, so additional bricks are not necessary.

Are the lights included?

Yes. Four LED lighting packages are included to illuminate the station, storefronts, street lamps and surrounding architectural details.

The lighting system is powered through a USB cable, so batteries are not required. Simply connect it to a compatible USB power source to bring the completed scene to life.

What is included in the box?

Your set includes:

3,143 building bricks
Three instruction booklets
Four LED lighting packages
One brick remover
Decorative stickers

You will also need access to a compatible USB power source to operate the lighting.

How large is the completed model?

Once completed, Shiinamachi Station measures approximately:

14.6 inches high
13.3 inches wide
11.8 inches long

The finished model weighs approximately 5.2 kg, giving it a substantial presence on a shelf, cabinet or display table.

We recommend checking your intended display space before beginning the build.

What age is the set recommended for?

Shiinamachi Station is recommended for builders aged 14 and above due to its smaller pieces, detailed construction and lighting installation.

Younger builders may still enjoy the experience with guidance and assistance from an adult.

What happens if a piece is missing or damaged?

You are covered by our Completion Guarantee.

Should any piece arrive missing, damaged or defective, our support team will arrange a free replacement. We will also assist if you accidentally damage a part during assembly, so you can complete your build with confidence.
