In a world, where almost every social gathering is characterized by individuals spending time on their gadgets rather than talking to the people they have come to meet, arts and crafts provide a great way for people to get off their gadgets and work with one another. Whether it be a class for adults or a social gathering arranged by a retired person after buying a miniature crafts kit, arts and crafts give people a reason to be interested in other people’s work to interact with them about it.

I purchased the Eternal Book Store. I am amazed at the detail in all of the pieces. The wood pieces are a little cumbersome to break out but it just takes some patience. So much thought went into this design. So adorable!

Sam’s Study looks too much like Suzy’s Book Shoppe. To truly be a study, you definitely need a desk (roll top?) and to lose the “Sale” sign. Also nice mahogany bookcases. Not sure Sam would have yellow bookcases in his study. Otherwise love the details of your kits!

I am extremely disappointed in the 1940’s Train Cabin kit. I am an experienced “crafter” and very patient. Many pieces of this kit are extremely difficult to join. I have already broken two pieces so doubt the travel reel will work. Wish I could get a refund. Definitely would not recommend this for children.☹️

I am a senior; I’m about halfway done with “The Magic Pharmacy” kit and I love it! I have never worked with miniatures before, but I have to say this is so very relaxing and fun. There is something about sitting and methodically working through putting the little pieces together, seeing it all fit together, making the tiny accessories. For me it is almost like meditation. I have problems with my hands and I thought I might have trouble with all the tiny parts, but it is actually helping me keep my hands working. I found that a clear gel glue works best; I use parchment paper to hold a small blob of it and use toothpicks to apply it. The small emery board (sanding board) provided is perfect for smoothing edges. The pieces of the building, furniture and many props are made of what seems to be pressed wood. They are well identified and arranged on labeled boards and are easy to push out and assemble. The kit is put together very well, and would make a really great gift for anyone.
