My keys were stored on a Coldcard device that was kept in a safety deposit box and had never been connected to the internet. I was at our cottage and only heard about the hack today.
“No way this affects me,” I thought.
I logged into the Wasabi Wallet software to view my Bitcoin wallets.
Right away, I saw a series of red withdrawal transactions, and I knew.
Between 9:36 p.m. and 9:43 p.m. on July 29, every wallet I had had been emptied.
