De inspiratie achter de set
Eternal Midnight Paris begon met een ervaring die onze ontwerper had tijdens een reis naar Parijs. Het was laat, de straten waren rustig, en een kleine jazzbar zat verscholen in een stille hoek. Binnen gloeiden warme lichten door oude posters. Een pianist speelde zacht terwijl een halfvol glas wijn op de tafel stond.
Toen de nacht eindigde en de ontwerper naar buiten stapte, straalde de Eiffeltoren tegen de lucht. De jazz, de warmte en de stilte voelden als één herinnering die lang bleef hangen na het vertrek. Dat moment werd het emotionele hart van deze set.
Ontwerp & sfeer
Elk detail in Eternal Midnight Paris is gevormd rond het gevoel van die nacht. Je vindt:
- Een rode fluwelen bank die warmte en zachtheid brengt
- Een versleten piano en verspreide vinylplaten
- Wijnglazen, instrumenten en kleine persoonlijke details die hintten naar een net afgelopen lied
- Gouden lampen die de kamer vullen met zacht licht
- Een vintage lift die in de hoek staat
- Een klein balkon met uitzicht op de stille daken
- En door het hoge raam, de Eiffeltoren die middernacht gloeit
