It depends on the kit. Lighter builds like Kyoto Gion and Omoide Yokocho take about 4–6 hours, ideal for a cozy weekend. Mid-range builds like Cats Crossing and Bangkok Yaowarat run 6–8 hours. Our most intricate sets, Whispering Hollow and Mars Revelation 62, take 8–10 hours thanks to added layers of lighting, mechanics, and fine detail. Take your time. Slower builds tend to look better.

Yes, every ANAVRIN® kit includes built-in LED lighting with a pre-wired, color-coded system, no soldering or electrical experience required. Most kits run on 2× AAA or AA batteries (not included). Whispering Hollow, Cats Crossing, Kowloon Walled City 2049, Mars Revelation 62, Golden Gai, gives you a choice of 3× AA batteries or USB-C. Kowloon Walled City 2049 adds dynamic flashing neon effects for its cyberpunk setting, and Whispering Hollow pairs its lighting with a self-winding music box mechanism.

All essential materials are included inside the box. A few designs may recommend extra wood glue or tweezers for precision assembly, but everything you need to start crafting is already provided.
