Na het afmaken van je boekhoek geniet je van het kiezen van de perfecte plek ervoor. Schuif het tussen je favoriete boeken en stap een stukje terug, je zult zien hoe het meteen diepte en karakter aan je plank geeft, waardoor een gewone ruimte iets opvallends wordt.
Zet het op ooghoogte zodat de kleine details makkelijk te bewonderen zijn. Je kunt het zelfs combineren met boeken die bij het thema passen om een samenhangende uitstraling te creëren. Als er verlichting in zit, zet die dan ’s avonds aan voor een zachte, gezellige gloed die de hele sfeer verandert.
Voeg een klein plantje of een ingelijste foto in de buurt toe om de presentatie compleet te maken. Neem dan even een moment om het in je op te nemen. Dit is niet zomaar decoratie. Het is een miniatuurtje dat je zelf hebt gebouwd, en daar mag je trots op zijn.
Conclusie
Je eerste doe-het-zelf boekhoekset hoeft niet perfect te zijn. Het gaat om leren, experimenteren en genieten van de rustige focus die komt kijken bij het zelf maken van iets.
